• Within the accommodation complexes, creating nuisance, using speakers or making loud noises is restricted during the scheduled ‘Quiet Hours’ (11 PM to 6 AM).
• The hostel authorities are strictly against ragging, bullying, hazing, and other such activities as these are considered as inhuman offences. Inmates who are supporting or practising these acts will have to go through disciplinary actions as per the Institution’s policies.
• Smoking, drinking or consuming drugs are not allowed at the hostels of the University.

Inside the NLSIU Bangalore Campus, there nearly 5 boys’ hostels namely, ‘Ganga’, ‘Cauvery’, ‘Himalaya’, ‘Hoogly’, and ‘Brahmaputra’ & about 6 girls’ hostels which are ‘Nilgiris’, ‘Narmada’, ‘Yamuna’, ‘Gangotri’, ‘Vindhyas’, and ‘Annapurna’. Also, the total capacity of on-campus hostels is around 1000+ students. The rooms in these hostels are available in single, double, and other sharing basis & have cot, bookshelf, desk, mattress, cupboard, etc.

Apart from these, the Institution provides off-campus housing facilities to the students in the around 2 hostels which are 15 minutes away from the campus. These hostels have fully-furnished twin sharing rooms with bunk style beds and attached washrooms. Other amenities present at the off-campus hostels include common rooms, parking, entertainment rooms, and so on.
