Following are a few points, which students need to know about the Institution’s hostel fees:

• The above-stated hostel fees include lodging, laundry, and various other charges. Also, fees given for 3-seater regular rooms are solely applicable for girls’ hostels.
• An additional hostel caution deposit of Rs. 10,000/- is to be paid by residents as well.
• Both male & female students should deposit their hostel & mess fee at the ‘ICICI Bank’ accounts of respective beneficiaries.

For the maintenance of a decorum and discipline at the accommodation arena, multiple rules are formed by the ‘East Point Group of Institutions Hostel Committee’. Students should follow these rules as breaking them might result in strict disciplinary consequences like expulsion, penalty, etc.

Following are some of the significant hostel rules & regulations of the Institution:

• Students cannot leave the Institution’s campus during class hours. However, during holidays and weekends, they can stay out of the campus till 6:30 PM after making an entry in the outward / inward register.
• Written permission from wardens / class coordinators should be taken by all the residents in advance if they plan to go on leave or an overnight stay.
• It is compulsory for the hostellers to vacate their rooms after each academic session (3 days after the end of final exams).
• Violent activities such as fighting, ragging, hazing, bullying, and others are banned at the on-campus residences.
• Possession, consumption or distribution of alcoholic beverages, tobacco products, narcotic drugs, and other such items is prohibited within the arena of the Institution’s residences.
• Silence needs to be maintained by boarders from 09:00 PM to 08:00 AM in order to help their fellow inmates focus on their academic work.
• Within the Institution’s accommodations, students cannot visit or stay at the rooms of fellow mates post 9:00 PM.
• Iron, e-kettles, hot plates, induction, heating coils, and other electrical items are restricted at the hostel rooms.
• Damaging or causing an intentional harm to any of the hostel and room property is not allowed.
• Hostellers shall turn-off all the lights, fans, and other electrical switches before leaving rooms for an outing or meals.

Nearly 9 gender-specific residences with state-of-the amenities are constructed inside the central East Point Group of Institutions Campus. To run every hostel smoothly, a chief administrative officer, in-charges, wardens, and other staff members have been appointed by the Institution.

There is a mess with clean & hygienic kitchens and spacious dining halls at the East Point Group of Institutions hostels for providing food facilities to the boarders.
