JSS Science and Technology University Mysore Campus: Photos, Virtual Tour

Our college has three gates Main gate, Exit gate and Back gate. Firstly, if we start from main gate we will see a Ganesha temple at front, gym to the right, and administrative block to the left. Next, we will see physics and chemistry lab buildings behind that we have library, Mechanical, EEE, ECE branch building. Further, we will see IP, ENV, and Polymer Science departments. Furthermore, we will see Golden jubilee Bhavan which is the main attractive building for CSE and IS students. We have another green building for Entrepreneurship / Start-up culture. Classes are well organized and up to date. Library is well maintained and books are available accurately. There is both reference and borrow sections in library. The stationary, bank, canteen and xerox centers are also there within the college campus itself.

Overall, the campus is very vast having 102 acres. Campus life is chill as we get lot more places to spend time. There are cafes where lot of students has their evening chats, juices, cold drinks, ice creams etc. For CSE branch, there is a huge crowd in my college. There are many technical and non-technical clubs as well. Technical clubs include IEEE-¬SJCE, Linux Campus Club (LCC), The Computer Society of India (CSI), Google Developer Student Club (GDSE), TESLA, PACE, and VentureX. Non-Technical clubs include Bureau club, Balaga, Sahas, Velocity, Gravity, Editorial board, photon etc. (I'm web developer in VentueX Club). The infrastructure is good with well facilitated classroom which includes the smart board. The college has very beautiful 108 acres campus with good infrastructure and facility. There are dedicated teaching halls and very good auditorium which is excellent for conducting any kind of event. The college also has well equipped lab facility and it provides opportunities to think differently. The college also has dedicated buildings for different departments.

The campus life in SJCE is very good. The college culture is so cool. The campus is full of different events happening all around by different clubs and the college culture also facilities hackathon and other major opportunities.Read Full Review

Over 100-acre campus meant no shortage of space or facilities. Every department of the University had their set of facilities like the auditorium, library, and canteen. Our department was the second largest as the medical department also had their hospital and their canteen was also the best on campus. There was a common auditorium and central library. The sporting facilities and canteens were common as one could use any canteen of their choice. The Shagun canteen was only for girls as boys were not allowed there.

'Walk the Talk' was the main theme of campus life. If an announcement is made that this will be done by a certain day, it means it will be done at least a day before. Likewise, the events and all meant that no studies on those days as the College has taken its mantra from 'Shrimad Bhagwad Gita' that nothing in life is called in-between.
