NID Ahmedabad Reviews on Placement, Faculty, Hostel by Students

I got the chance to go to the National Institute of Design in Ahmedabad and it was an amazing experience. NID is a really famous design school in India and it lived up to its reputation. What stood out to me about NID was the hands-on learning. The way they teach is designed to encourage trying new things and being creative, and you get to work on real projects right away. This helps you learn a lot about design principles and techniques, and gives you skills you can use in the real world. The teachers at NID are great. They know a lot about design and they care about helping students become great designers too. They take the time to understand each student and give them personalized help and advice. NID also encourages students to learn about different kinds of design. They want everyone to understand how different kinds of design work together, so they encourage you to learn about all of them. This helps you understand design better overall. I really recommend NID to anyone who wants to work in design. The classes are hard, but they're worth it. NID Ahmedabad is one of the best colleges for textile designing. The course is different than others as its duration is 2 and half years. There are around 20 streams in M. Des and my field was textile design which was one of the most longed courses of the college. With changing time, it has been proved that only digital designing can survive and that is what we learned at the campus. Since its one of the oldest it has a great alumni network. The disciplines of design are plenty and you will be literally spoilt for choices. The syllabus of the course has certainly helped students to meet market requirement of today’s world. All the key software’s required for the trade are taught at the college. Most of the students come and pay these heavy fees at the institute as graduates of designing are not even paid peanuts. However, NID’s placement is a massive hit and that is the reason you will see students from all corners of India.Read Full Review
