Thadomal Shahani Engineering College Reviews on Placement, Faculty, Hostel by Students

I got admission in TSEC through the spot rounds that happened after the regular MHT-CET CAP rounds. The initial excitement of getting into the college was quite short lived, as it did not meet my expectations. Being one of the top Engineering colleges in Mumbai, it lacked quite a few things. First of all, the college lacks a proper campus space. It just consists of two buildings sharing a common property with the R.D. National College. The committees and fests of the college are quite good. Although, due to the large crowd it may need a larger auditorium and more space. The placements are the only thing that saves this college. The average package is in the range of 10-12 LPA. One needs to generally score 96% + in order to get branches such as AI & DS, IT and CS. This college also has reservations for the Sindhi minority. But beware as the fees are quite high.Read Full Review

Thadomal Shahani Engineering College (TSEC) is an institute known for its strong academics and good campus. It is a very famous college, as it provides one of the highest job packages. People mainly think about the packages and placements a college can offer. Therefore, TSEC is a very good college, having good staff and education.Read Full Review

It is one of the best options for Engineering College in Mumbai University, because it is located in Bandra, it has good crowd over other colleges such as Vivekanand or DJ Sanghvi. It has good placements almost 70-80% of students of CS, IT and AI & DS branch got placed. It has latest PCs and Air-Conditioned labs and classes. No attendance issue, except some branches because of their faculty.Read Full Review
