I got admission in TSEC through the spot rounds that happened after the regular MHT-CET CAP rounds. The initial excitement of getting into the college was quite short lived, as it did not meet my expectations. Being one of the top Engineering colleges in Mumbai, it lacked quite a few things. First of all, the college lacks a proper campus space. It just consists of two buildings sharing a common property with the R.D. National College. The committees and fests of the college are quite good. Although, due to the large crowd it may need a larger auditorium and more space. The placements are the only thing that saves this college. The average package is in the range of 10-12 LPA. One needs to generally score 96% + in order to get branches such as AI & DS, IT and CS. This college also has reservations for the Sindhi minority. But beware as the fees are quite high.

The college offers five different courses: COMPS, IT, AI&DS, EXTC and Chemical Engineering. This college is quite academic centric as there is a 75% attendance policy. Teamwork and internals also play a big role; the college is decently strict regarding it. The academics and co-curricular activities go at par with each other.

The faculty of this college is above average. There are selective teachers who are quite helpful and knowledgeable. Although the faculty consists of teachers from different backgrounds, most of them are well-proficient in English. A few teachers could be really strict for the students, advising them to be serious in the first year of their Engineering. Regardless of this, most of them are chill.

The old building is not well-maintained. The benches, old lifts and other facilities are outdated. The auditorium in which the fests and other minor events are held is shared in the common campus of the R.D. National College.

The campus of this college is quite small. But the crowd in TSEC is really great. The fests are really a fun giving a thrilling experience. They are generally conducted in the month of February-March. The events organized by the various committees and clubs of this college are quite sportive. It includes different activities in which many students can showcase their talents and potential.
