IIFT Kakinada Campus: Photos, Virtual Tour

The infrastructure in the classrooms is as good as it gets. However, since it is a temporary campus, not many facilities exist. But the permanent campus will be ready by 2025. The permanent campus will obviously have all the facilities - academic, sports and otherwise.

There are many clubs, chapters and committees. If students feel the need for a new club, they can also submit their own proposals for new clubs or chapters. Many fests of different types are also held. There is Aikyam: the sports fest, Request: the business fest, Cryptic Bonds: the investing fest. The cultural committee also ensures that we celebrate all festivals from all the different cultures. Since the batch size is small, you are sure to make great friends because friends will literally turn into your family here.Read Full Review

Since the actual campus is still under construction, classes currently take place is inside JNTU. The classrooms are quite spacious having a comfortable structure in such a way that it makes the whole interaction process between students and teachers a lot smoother and easier. There is also a library with a lot of interesting books. The centre head's office, admissions office and even the mess are very close to the classrooms.

Even with the temporary campus setup in the JNTU campus, the campus life is lively. The JNTU campus is quite big and well equipped with everything. There are many student clubs and organizations for different interests like debating, drama, consulting, economics finance, sports and so much more. We organize annual events like “Riqeza” and the cultural event “Abhivyakti”. The campus has a huge hall and a big open space. Some other events take place out of campus, for example during sports events the college books badminton courts, football fields, etc. as per the requirements of the students. The diversity at our college is enriching. Students not only come from all the different parts of India but the world, bringing various perspectives, cultures and ideas. This diversity creates a vibrant and inclusive campus where everyone feels welcomed. It truly helps us broaden our horizons and prepares us for the globalized world. The village immersion program helps us understand rural markets and the socio-economic challenges faced by the rural communities, fostering a sense of social responsibility.Read Full Review

Currently we are located in our temporary campus at Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University, Kakinada. We expect our permanent campus to ready in another 2 years, but despite this our temporary campus has fully air conditioned classrooms with projector and interactive touch screen smart boards, air conditioned student activity room, air conditioned meeting room and a fully air conditioned library with access to multiple internationally published textbooks, references, and e-journals from leading publications and knowledge organisations.

Like I said, despite the drawback of not having a permanent campus, of course there shall be the absence of the experience one might otherwise get in a normal college with an established campus. But nevertheless, we try to make the best use of our existing facilities. We have chapters of international organisations such as GAEE, 180DC, FMA, and GirlUp running successfully. We also have numerous other student run and established clubs such as sports, cultural, hostel and mess, debate, literary, performing arts, etc. We host quarterly intra sports fest called Aikyam covering badminton, football, volleyball and cricket. We also host our very own inter college national level fest, RIQUEZA which has already conducted 2 successful editions over multiple domains. RIQUEZA also allows us to gain hands on experience in various departments such as marketing, outreach, coordination, communication design, ideation, strategy, finance, student and corporate relations. We have also over the past 2 years participated in multiple B-school competitions gaining achievements at national and international level. Given the fact that we are only 2 batches as of now, we try to make the best days of our college life by celebrating every little occasion and festival heartily.Read Full Review
