The Sona Devi University (SDU), Ghatsila provides comfortable accommodation to boys’ & girls’ separately in its architecturally impressive hostels. Furthermore, to pay attention to the students’ safety and privacy, the hostels have vigilance cameras & trained security guards throughout the arena.

The female and male hostels of the Institution have accommodation capacity of nearly 50 students (in each). Besides this, the hostel rooms are properly ventilated, spacious & furnished with beds, cupboards, chairs, study tables, and other amenities.

Furthermore, students can avail the accommodation amenities by filling the respective application form & submitting it either through Online mode or providing hard copy of the same at Institution’s hostel office and paying the accommodation charges.

Additionally, the Sona Devi University hostel fees is Rs. 90,000/- per annum. This fee is inclusive of lodging and food (mess) charges.

Note: Along with aforegiven accommodation fees, there is a refundable caution deposit of Rs. 15,000/-. Students are also allowed to submit the accommodation charges in 2 installments i.e. at the beginning of each semester.

• Involving in activities like ragging, stealing, possessing alcohol, and others are restricted at the Institutions’ accommodations.
• Hostellers are expected to maintain a silent & peaceful environment at study rooms of the accommodations.
• Use of the electrical appliances such as iron, hot plate, e-kettle, and others are not allowed without prior permission of the wardens.
• Before leaving the University’s residential arena for a night out, hostellers shall take permission from their designated wardens.
• Inside the hostel complexes, students are solely responsible to safeguard their personal items.
• Students need to turn off the PCs, fans & lights prior to leaving the rooms.

The hostels at the Sona Devi University Campus are separate for male & female students and each of these hostels have safe & secure living space for around 50 students.
