If there's anything that the University has remodeled, then it is its academics. The University has added an extra subject every semester and skill programs have been added too. Earlier, when I joined the University, the University was trying to finish the syllabus off at all costs. Come 2018 and a new HOD, things changed as classes were lengthened by an hour and many new things were added. I would say the University was slow at the top part of the course but is very good at the end. Last few months, even during lockdown, the classes were done as awarding a degree was not the only motive of the University but having known that students have acquired enough knowledge, was their top agenda.Read Full Review

MBA is not just an extended version of BBA but a much more to that. We were offered a lot of assistance in case analysis, and business simulation. We were made learn how to prepare presentations, and were given many live projects every month. To enhance our skills the university conducted many programs like virtual role plays, quizzes on businesses, and also introduced us to many management games. Study here is developing on skills rather than just studying the course material. It was compulsory for us to undergo technical training, soft skills training, and aptitude building. The transition from students to be a corporate manager was so smooth that we were ready to take on challenges of the world before we were handed over our degrees.Read Full Review

An IT engineer student needs a coding culture to grow. At DIT, competitive coding was quite sparse as all were taught the same things and in most cases, the students were mixed to make the competition sparse. So, the motivation went downhill soon, as the more ironic part was that ECE and CSE students, who deal more in hardware than software, became more adept in coding. So, maybe the IT department of the University is not as good as the others. There were some societies at the University like Microsoft Student Community, Google Student Community, and the best of them all: CodeGenX. I was late in joining them and you please don’t do that, as these societies are run by some top students who genuinely help students. However, the question is still not answered about competitive coding. All these societies will help with technology and project-based coding but hardly focus on ‘Competitive Coding’.Read Full Review
