I am pursuing an Economic Honors here, it is one of the best here. The entry requirement for the course is that you have to appear in the IPU CET exam. According to which our rank will be given and on that basis, you will be allotted some institute. Another way to get into institute is by taking the CUET exam and you have to appear for counseling and will get the institute once seats are filled by IPU-CET students. You are supposed to take two exams: one is an internal exam and other one an external examination for which you will be allotted a different institute that is under IPU University. Overall, the facilities for Economics are above average, but under the new education policy, the course has become lucrative.

The fee structure for three-year Economic Honors program is quite affordable compared to other private institutes. It will be between 3 and 4 Lakh for a three-year program. I am pursuing BA Economics Honors from this institute. The eligibility criteria have changed since 2022 so now for getting admission you have to give CUET Entrance Exam and as per the merit of the students, they will be offered courses. There should be at least 3 domain subjects and English is the compulsory subject. The main motive to get enrolled in this course is to get the degree of BA Economics Honors and do further Masters like MBA which will be very beneficial to me.

The curriculum focuses on Microeconomics, Macroeconomics, Econometrics and many more. Blending theoretical knowledge with practical case studies, the program provides a solid academic foundation, especially for the students who want to pursue and have interest in economics. The faculty members are generally knowledgeable with a mix of academic and industry experience.
