VIPS-TC New Delhi: Facilities, Events, and Extracurricular Opportunities

The overall experience has been good so far. If we compare VIPS-TC New Delhi with other institutes, you will find it among the best institutes. There is a fixed timetable that has been followed.

I am pursuing an Economic Honors here, it is one of the best here. The entry requirement for the course is that you have to appear in the IPU CET exam. According to which our rank will be given and on that basis, you will be allotted some institute. Another way to get into institute is by taking the CUET exam and you have to appear for counseling and will get the institute once seats are filled by IPU-CET students. You are supposed to take two exams: one is an internal exam and other one an external examination for which you will be allotted a different institute that is under IPU University. Overall, the facilities for Economics are above average, but under the new education policy, the course has become lucrative.

The fee structure for three-year Economic Honors program is quite affordable compared to other private institutes. It will be between 3 and 4 Lakh for a three-year program. But now that there is a New Education Policy, the fee for four-year degree will be around 5 to 6 Lakh. Scholarships are also provided to those who are not financially stable.

The faculty members are highly qualified and hold Master’s & PhD degrees with them. The faculty is helpful, welcoming. Some teachers teach so well that you will understand concept in class. They use both old and new methods for teaching whenever what is required. If you attend the classes and listen carefully, then you will not face any sort of difficulty during the exam time. The faculties have graduated from the top DU institutes, Jamia Millia Islamia, etc. The dean ma'am is very nice and understandable. The teachers give us PPTs and notes as reference material. They teach in class discussing the concepts in detail and the doubts are well addressed. My experience is very good so far as they have been there and available whenever I have needed them

For my course, the placements are not there and the students who have been placed mostly have connections in companies or you have to apply for off-campus placements. We have a society named Placement & Guidance Cell that usually conducts webinars regarding careers in Economics. After completing a Bachelor's in Economics, you can expect an average package of 6 to 8 LPA.

VIPS-TC New Delhi doesn't have hostel facilities. There are multiple PG's nearby institutes at a distance of 10 minutes from the institution.

This institute is known for its infrastructure. It has well-furnished buildings, air-conditioned classrooms, and has auditorium. If you have some practical subject, it also has labs, a huge library, and medical room. The unique thing about VIPS-TC New Delhi is that it also has one meditation room. We have different blocks for different courses. The classrooms are spacious and have AC, which helps in summer. The best part of the day is going to the canteen. The quality of food has improved. It can work over availing few hang out areas.

The best part of the institute is its campus. The crowd of the institute is elite and for a moment you will feel like you have entered into a fashion institute. There are various clubs in the institute so apart from studies, you will also focus on co-curricular activities to escape your studies for a while. I was a part of the dramatics society of VIPS which is ‘Aflatoon’ which is a great society to join being there you will never feel judged and you can be yourself out there. I am also a part of NSS VIPS-TC that is engaged in social activities. Apart from the annual fests, Bollywood singers like Zaden and Parmish Verma have been there. We have our TEDX event in which comedians and singers like Rajat Chauhan and Arpit Balla have invited. Many other societies like Enactus and other societies have events running throughout the year. As per my experience, this institute is a very happening place where you can have the best three years of your institute life. The campus life is something you will memorize your entire life.
