Doon Business School MBA Fees Structure 2025 & Admission Process, Dehradun

The program was such that students’ managerial skills were tested in each and every practical. We were given hypothetical situations and had to battle it out amongst ourselves. Students were more of innovating and experimenting as MBA program has such things in their curriculum. The books were too large to study them whole and even the professors said that one doesn’t have to eat words from the books as we did practical application of all the topics from the books. Thus, the students who are good enough can pass their semesters just by being attentive during the practical's and that will be more than enough.

DBS is not so kind when it comes to academics as industrial tours, assignments, and regular classes kept us packed for the entire year. Academic schedule was so busy that we had just a week before the exams to prepare. Practical learning was done through group assignments and group tasks. Even the group debates happened for some practical exams and it was as good as the top B-Schools of the country. English was the main language used to communicate as we couldn’t speak to pour professors in Hindi. Some had language issues but by the end of the course everyone became confident because as a management student we will be representing our respective companies globally. Thus, English being the common language was the main focus in our talks and debates.

Where in most of the college is still following memorization technique, DBS believes in project-based learning. Taking students to incubation centres and making them believe in start-ups was the best part of studies. The college is a little strict with attendance as any B-School would be. The two years course is vast but one doesn’t have to read the books for everything. One can apply their brains and open to ask or suggest anything. The management of the college used to back student’s instinct. All in all, DBS not just make student learn but nurture them so that they can contribute in the future.
