I am in the third year of B.Tech electronic and communication branch. My expensive overall good. Criteria for admission at Sir Chhotu Ram Institute of Engineering and Technology is through JEE Main entry and direct entry based on the 12th result percentage. You can apply for AKTU counseling. The program institute conduct 3 exams per semester 2 exam are sessional exam and third one is the main internal exam.

In first semester, you will pay Rs. 40,000/- and 2nd semester, you will pay Rs. 40,000. Total yearly fee is Rs. 80,000. In addition, they have other additional charges as if examination form fee is around Rs. 1,500 to Rs. 2,000. Now talking about scholarship if you are in UP reason UP Government give to scholarship based on your previous year result. The curriculum is not up to date but it's average. There are no flaws in the curriculum but some subjects feels less interesting. The curriculum includes various languages like Python, Java, C++ and it also teaches you DSA which will help you in future to secure placements. The difficulty level of the exams is moderate and there are 2 sessional and 1 semester exam every semester. The admission can be taken through JEE MAINS ranking or directly if you have contacts. Most preferred exam is JEE Main. The cutoff is not too high and the cutoff for my branch Information Technology last year was around 4 lakh in the open category. The overall admission experience was smooth and the admission was completed through physical reporting.

The year wise tuition fee at SCRIET Meerut is Rs. 85,000 only. The year I took admission it was Rs. 80,000 but it got increased this year. This Rs. 85,000 includes all kinds of tuition fees, caution fees, registration fees and other charges. You can pay the fee in 2 parts like half in 1st sem and other half in the other sem. Half fees is required if you want to fill the semester exam form. The semester exam form costs Rs. 1,760. The fee structure is same for everyone despite being from any category. The scholarship criteria are 75 % attendance and more than 6 CGPA. SC and ST candidates get the highest scholarship that is around Rs. 1,00,000. General EWS candidate gets around Rs. 63,000. Course structure is similar to AKTU university syllabus and has similar pattern. To get admission in a B.Tech course program, students have to clear entrance exams like JEE mains and AKTU's exam which is state level entrance. But in some branches like Mechanical, Agriculture, and ECE students’ merit is also preferred instead of entrance exam for admission. Students should have passed 12th for regular admission and Diploma for lateral entry. Full fees of B.Tech program is around 3, 25,000/- for 4 years (40k per semester).
