United College of Engineering & Research Prayagraj Hostel Fees: Rooms, Food & Rules

In the college, there is a hostel for both boys and girls. 24 hours electricity is available in hostel. Everything is good in college hostel except food. My personal review overall is medium.Read Full Review

We have two main hostels in our college. LSDG for boys and RLG for girls. Both have everything equipped. Hostel fee is Rs. 65,000 for 3 seater non AC, Rs. 75,000 for 2 seater non AC, Rs. 80,000 for 3 seater AC, Rs. 90,000 for 2 seater AC. Both the hostels have same prices. Mess price is included. For AC rooms, electricity charges are extra (Rs. 15 per unit). Mess food quality is average and is vegetarian. Hostel has proper hygiene and everything is properly maintained. Electricity is available 24/7. For girls, hostel gate closed at 9 PM for security reasons. I am a hostler. The experience is fine. There is no ragging here.Read Full Review

Hostel facilities are basic but comfortable. The hostel facilities are good but not luxurious. The rooms are clean and functional with the basic furniture like beds, study tables, and cupboards. Rooms are shared by the students. The mess has a vegetarian food that is normally okay. Many students prefer going out to restaurant something for change. It has all basic at facilities such as water coolers and Wi-Fi. However, speed of Wi-Fi can be bit slow but unreliable at times. It has strict rules such as no visitor policy (which are limiting for the students).Read Full Review
