My Honest Outlook on UCER Prayagraj

Overall Rating
UCER Prayagraj might be correct option if you are from UP and Bihar for your B. Tech. This is the best college as not only give assurance for placement but also helps you to make contacts and connections. This is the only private institution in northern belt, which almost guarantee that you got placement. Here, placement and campus life is much more satisfactory and vibrant. The teaching staff is at par with modern standards.
 

Academics Rating
Academics are the core of your journey in college. B.Tech program at UCER Prayagraj follows AKTU’s curriculum that is more or less standard across the affiliated colleges. Syllabus mainly deals with the basics of Engineering disciplines, but some people feel that it does not keep pace with the latest trends in technology like AI, Machine Learning, & Data Science. If you are looking for an affordable engineering college with a structured academic environment and our ready to take ownership of your own learning and career development then this can be a suitable option.
The fee structure is moderate compared to other private engineering colleges in Uttar Pradesh a rough breakdown tuition fee is about Rs. 1, 00,000 per year. However, it may vary according to the chosen branch. Additional charges like exam fee, lab fee, library fee, etc. will be around Rs. 10,000 to Rs. 15,000. Hostel fee is around Rs. 60,000 to Rs. 70,000 per annum including mess charges.
 

Faculty Rating
The faculty here is a mix of experienced professors and young educators. If we talk about strengths, some professors are highly dedicated and go out of their way to help students understand. Complex topics are explained in a very detailed manner. They are going to be approachable and often provide additional resource or guidance outside of classes. Some of the weakness that a faculty member may lack practical industry experience due to it makes their teaching feel more theoretical then practical.
 

Placement Rating
Placements in UCER Prayagraj at you sure are decent but certainly not exceptional. This is because the college has a placement cell, which brings the companies to campus. The cell also conducts training sessions, mock interviews, and resume preparation workshops for students. The recruiters are mostly from the companies such as TCS, Wipro, Infosys, & Tech Mahindra. There is a decent starting salary offered by most of the recruiting companies.
 

Hostel Rating
Hostel facilities are basic but comfortable. The hostel facilities are good but not luxurious. The rooms are clean and functional with the basic furniture like beds, study tables, and cupboards. Rooms are shared by the students. The mess has a vegetarian food that is normally okay. Many students prefer going out to restaurant something for change. It has all basic at facilities such as water coolers and Wi-Fi. However, speed of Wi-Fi can be bit slow but unreliable at times. It has strict rules such as no visitor policy (which are limiting for the students).
 

Infrastructure Rating
Then infrastructure is average. State of the art classrooms are large and ventilated and are outfitted with smart boards. Nevertheless, some students feel they need better seating arrangements. Labs are functional with basic equipment for better practical sessions. The library has a decent collection of books and journals but it is not very extensive as digital resources are also limited which can be drawback. Basic sports facilities are available.
 

Campus Rating
Campus life can be considered average to above average. There are few clubs and societies, but they need to be bit more active. The events are organized regularly but on a smaller scale. However, students enjoy in these events. There is considerable amount of diversity among the student community.

    My college is in Prayagraj, Naini. If I talk about academics in my college then it's best because teachers are very sincere and helping in nature. The infrastructure is also good. Fests are less in our college. 75%attendance is mandatory for the examination purpose.     United College Naini is one the prestigious colleges in Allahabad and is well known for its academics and reputable faculties. It is affiliated with Abdul Kalam Technical University and holds no. 1 position in the whole Allahabad city since a decade.
