Asia Pacific Institute of Management is a private management college established in 1996 providing general management courses and specialized courses like marketing, finance and banking, human resource, international business, health care and hospitality management. The college is ranked 7th for campus placement in North India in 2020 by India Today.

For admission one must have minimum of 50% in Graduation, 10th and 12th with valid GMAT/ CAT/ MAT/ CMAT/ XAT/ ATMA score and 35% weightage will be taken from entrance test, 20% from 10th,12th, Graduate degree, 35% from Group discussion or interview and 10 extracurricular activities. APIM was neither my first or last choice; I joined it by chance. I was looking for MBA options and most Universities in India have an entrance exam which I didn't give. Thus, the only option left for me was to look for the Colleges in which entrance is not a criteria. Delhi was the closest city and I came across some big names like FMS, FORE School of Management, Delhi School of Management, and Department of Business Economics. After failing to get admission in the names I have mentioned, APIM looked like the only option, and even though the fees were high, I didn't hesitate in joining that. Some misleading facts too contributed to me joining APIM, but if placements are done, I don't care whether the data is fake or perfect. The seats were high, but unfortunately, the College wasn't able to sell all its seats, and after division of the specification only 29 students were left in my class in the second year.Read Full Review

I will use a short form as the name is too long. APIM was a good institute for the people of Delhi as the institute has been built superbly and has taken great care of students in terms of academics. APIM is definitely not an A grade B-School and therefore, students who haven’t appeared for entrances or those who scored less join APIM or such institutes. I dearly wished to join NMIMS or SIMB but probably wasn’t that intelligent. Not many complaints from APIM though as institute may not have done well in terms of getting student placed but have marketed themselves really well. Everyone in and around Delhi knows this institute. If you don’t get placed through campus, you will still find yourself a decent enough job off-campus as APIM is no mug when it comes to B-Schools. The college has a uniform which was quite cool but the tie combination was quite poor. If you want a high-profile role in MNCs, just forget it because you won’t get it from APIM.Read Full Review
