Asia Pacific Institute of Management is a private management college established in 1996 providing general management courses and specialized courses like marketing, finance and banking, human resource, international business, health care and hospitality management. The college is ranked 7th for campus placement in North India in 2020 by India Today.

For admission one must have minimum of 50% in Graduation, 10th and 12th with valid GMAT/ CAT/ MAT/ CMAT/ XAT/ ATMA score and 35% weightage will be taken from entrance test, 20% from 10th,12th, Graduate degree, 35% from Group discussion or interview and 10 extracurricular activities. There is online helpline number to resolve online or telephonic query, there is help desk in college to solve any query, there is separate admission department which deals with admission process.

I have enrolled for full time 2 years PGDM (GEN program). In today's world privatization and globalization has taken a fast pace and to manage people and things better sound knowledge should be on management subjects which I achieved after joining the course. Yes, the courses are practical oriented, case study based giving a idea and relating to what actually the business world is, how it operates and how to manage Surely this course will be helpful to get job as PGDM is a up to date course with revised course structure as per change in industry requirements. So students will get the current information going in the business world and learn how to deal and manage them.

For my course there are around 8 faculties and overall there will be around 20 faculties in our campus. Some teachers have 10+years experience and some below 3 years. So the average year of experience in teaching will be around 5-6 years. Some faculties are masters in management and technology for technology related courses. Some are PhD holders. Yes they taught us as per guidelines and syllabus, resolve our doubts , have extra doubt clearing sessions, took extra classes if missed any regular classes, gave us regular assessment test to ensure continuous learning.

We had separate scheduled grooming classes where our personality and verbal and non verbal communication skills were enhanced as a preparation for summer internship and final placement. We had mock interviews and group discussions and a placement cell as created forming a group of 4 students from our class. This year HDFC Bank, ICICI Prudential Life Insurance, Berger Paints, Tata Power were some of the top companies that came for final placement. Till now highest package provided is Rs.14 lakhs CTC by Scaler academy. Average package is around Rs. 4-5 LPA received by my batch students and overall 70% percent students has got placed.

Hostel facilities got stopped during the session of 2019-21 batch due to less number of students taking admission than previous year. And it was the time I got admission. So I have no idea about it.

Our campus is around 1 acre spread in lush green area and we have one main building where reception is there on ground floor with director chamber, library, whereas classes take place in 2nd, 3rd and 4th floor with high tech projectors, IT lab is on 5th floor and in 6th floor we have cafeteria. We have auditorium having a capacity of 200 people and workshops are carried continuously from various discipline with various events like mini market. We have first aid facility in campus and college bus is also available.

My campus life was good as classes were live and interesting, teachers were very supportive, due to small campus and less number of students interacting with senior management was easy and we knew almost every teacher personally and vice a versa. We have extracurricular activities like sports meet, industrial visits, seminars, guest lecture, various events and the peers were also very friendly. The food in canteen was also healthy and delicious.
