MCT's Rajiv Gandhi Institute of Technology Mumbai Campus: Photos, Virtual Tour

The infrastructure of our institute is good but not of that level, which leaves lot of room for improvement. The classrooms are spacious and well ventilated. All the labs are always clean and upto mark. I haven’t seen the medical clinic of our institute but yea it is there. In terms of sports, our institute is well active and still sports enthusiasts’ bag prize and even girls are well motivated here.

The overall campus life in here is more than average for sure. The student crowd is true amalgamation of students of various regions but it is very peaceful. The students are studious and some have even won many national level hackathons. Extracurricular activities are there. It also has its own non-technical committees like for speaking skills, social welfare, and NSS. It is quiet good to learn from so many aspects in here.Read Full Review

College doesn't have huge and attractive building and infrastructure. It has normal C shaped 6 floor campus with awesome library, conference hall, meeting hall, auditorium, etc. and labs are on each floor. Labs are branch specific. Each floor is dedicated to each branch. Also in basement there are workshops for mechanical branches.

College has lots of events and activities going on throughout year. Fest like Zodiac and Olympia are highlights of college. Also branch specific events are always there. Also many events, many coding competition are always there. Also you can get to perform in entrepreneur activities and many of workshops to reach you and inform you about that.Read Full Review

All the labs were on the 1st floor and classes from 2nd floor onwards. The ground floor had a canteen which was of no use as close to the college was Versova Beach. Besides the location and college building, there was nothing great about the infrastructure. There was no playground, just a basketball court. The major part of the building is occupied by the classes, library, auditorium, and two seminar halls. The central workshop is in the basement and CS students hardly used that as we had all our practicals and workshops in the computer labs or the seminar halls. So, that sums up the summary as infrastructure literally ends here because there’s nothing else which I can mention.

Mumbai and its fests are super amazing. RGIT’s fest is not comparable to other colleges of Mumbai like even if I rule out Moodindigo, fests of colleges like Mithibai, NM, and HR are considered way above the fests of RGIT. For me though, I have never seen such fests where Bollywood celebrities are invited and many red-carpet events are organized for entertainment. Be it UG or PG, all the students were asked to participate in both tech fest and cultural fests of the college.Read Full Review
