MCT's Rajiv Gandhi Institute of Technology Mumbai Faculty Profile

The staff of RGIT Mumbai that is the teaching and non-teaching are both good. They are helpful not only in the institute but for the personal life too. There is even a counseling centre and the professor is so calm and soothing. There is software as well as hardware learning process in our institute and it is used in the best way possible by the teachers. The problem solving ability of teachers is on par and teachers are very helpful. The student teachers ratio is 1:30 or 1:20. Pre dilemma of professors like they don't teach in college. They are rude, they don't co-operate, fails here. College is blessed with excellent staff and faculties. They help you in every possible way. Proper guidance and support is provided. For students who are weaker in subjects, for them special lecture are also taken for one week to cope them.Read Full Review

One thing to look out for RGIT is its faculties. My previous college faculties didn’t know elementary things and couldn’t speak anything in English but here it was the reverse of that. All were experts in their subjects and Hindi was non-existent for them. I felt so embarrassed as I wasn’t so good at it but the faculties made it clear that no one will laugh if one struggles to ask his/her questions in English. Their confidence and help from my classmates helped me improve my language skills.
