IISER Kolkata Campus: Photos, Virtual Tour

The campus has very good infrastructure with lush green environment. No matter how stressed you are, spending some time around the campus can always clear your mind. The whole campus is connected through Wi-Fi and all the academic blocks have centralized AC which provides us a comfortable environment for studying. All the buildings are comparatively new with great view and ventilation. No matter the issue it always gets resolved within hours or at maximum a day. We have all the required amenities starting from a small tea shop near academic building to a full sized swimming pool and gym.

An academic year begins with fresher tournament and inter-batch sports tournaments. The sports club also organises various tournaments. After couple of months we have our literary fest 'Lexis'. Furthermore, the inter-IISER sports and culture meet is conducted immediately after our semester exams. The next semester starts with our fest 'Inquivesta'.Read Full Review

Infrastructure is something IISER K needs to work on more. There is one lecture hall complex, library, research complex, computer centre and many more things. As per current strength of the college it is sufficient. Everything is well equipped as of now that is because the campus is new.

We have clubs for music, dance, literature, Math, volleyball, Kabaddi, Badminton, football, cricket, movie, astronomy, tennis, table tennis, gym, nature, drama, yoga, basketball, kho-kho, athletics, gaming, and coding. We have a fest called Inquevesta which we organise around January. Campus life is fun here. Everybody is friendly and then people from each region celebrate their cultural festival.Read Full Review
