The Institute of Chemical Technology (ICT), Mumbai has a lush green campus with state-of-the art amenities so that students can get a conducive learning atmosphere. Moreover, the University offers a safe & secure environment to the students as numerous CCTV cameras have been installed at different strategic points.
The campus area of ICT Mumbai is approximately 16 acres and has 48,657 build up area. In addition to this, the departmental labs, sports facilities, auditorium, seminar halls, e-library & many others are available inside the ICT Mumbai campus.
The University has several academic buildings where students are facilitated with top notch academic & recreational facilities. Moreover, in order to create a smart learning atmosphere for the students, over 30 classrooms in ICT Mumbai campus have projectors, LCD screens, a lecture recording system & other ICT amenities.
Besides this, an air conditioned ‘KV Auditorium’ is developed over 175.98 square metre area; it is outfitted with various modern aids & has a sitting capacity of around 150 students. Other than this, seminar halls (including ‘Lalwani Seminar Hall’), ‘Pidilite Pavilion’ (an open air auditorium), and approximately 9 conference rooms are there at the premises of the Institution.
Tutorial rooms, drawing halls (each with around 100 students seating capacity), and other facilities are also provided to the students at the premises. Moreover, the campus offers a barrier free environment for the ease of the disabled students.

- Library: At the Deemed to be University, a computerised central library, also known as ‘Prof. M M Sharma Library’ has a carpet area of approximately 1391 square metres. Moreover, it is stocked with 28,980+ titles, 61,315+ volumes, 4335+ National & International journals & many other academic & non-academic resources. Furthermore, the multi-storied library has several sections like photocopying, book bank, reference book, reading hall, etc. along with the sufficient seats for nearly 200 students.
Along with this, an e-library is present on the second floor where students can access a multitude of 1000+ e-books and other e-resources from Springer, Scopus, Web of Science, etc.
- Laboratories: The computer laboratory / centre with more than 80 new generation PCs & high speed internet is available at the ICT Mumbai campus where students can continue their assignment & research work. Along with this, the University Engineering, Pharmacy, Management, and all the other departments have several laboratories with hi-tech instruments where students can perform experiments & learn practical skills.
A few examples of University’s departmental labs are Nano lab, Chemical Engineering Lab, Advanced Textile Lab, Processing and Testing Lab, etc.
- Sports: The sports complex of the Institution provides advanced sports amenities including equipment, courts & grounds for the sports like Basketball, Badminton (about 2 courts), Volleyball, Football, Kabaddi, and other games. There is also a dedicated space / gymkhana where students can engage in Carom, Chess, Table-Tennis & other indoor games during their free time.

- Hostel: The University offers residential amenities to more than 900 girls’ and boys’ separately. Within the campus, there are around 4 hostels that have fully-furnished twin, triple, and other sharing rooms so that students can stay comfortably. Furthermore, the rooms, messes, gymnasium, medical, and other facilities are available at the Institute of Chemical Technology Mumbai Hostels.
- Canteen: The Institution has ‘Godrej Canteen’ along with a night canteen named ‘Shrushti’ where students are provided with multi-cuisine snacks, meals, and other refreshments at affordable charges.
- Healthcare: At the ICT Mumbai campus, students get the facility of medical check ups on a regular basis, this helps in keeping their physically fine.
