

Institute of Chemical Technology started its operation in the year 1933 as University Department of Chemical Technology and later on granted ‘Deemed-to-be-University’ status by UGC in 2008. It is located in Mumbai, Maharashtra and is approved by AICTE and recognised by PCI.
This Deemed University is accredited by NAAC & National Board of Accreditation (NBA). Moreover, the Government of Maharashtra granted ‘Elite Status and Centre of Excellence’ in the State Assembly.

*It is to be noted that the aforementioned PG and other program fees include academic, library deposit (one-time), and additional charges. Moreover, the fees differ for the subsequent years of the respective PG programs.
Note: For admission in the above-stated Master level courses, students need to obtain at least 60% marks. In addition to this, 5% relaxation in marks is given to the students from backward classes.
Admission Process
ICT Mumbai admissions in the UG, PG courses are done through its official website. Students interested in seeking admission at the Deemed-to-be-University need to fill the online application form which contains personal information, academic qualifications, entrance exam details, and then upload required documents. Followed by, students can pay the respective fee amount.
Admission seats in the Bachelors courses of the Deemed University are filled by the Government of Maharashtra. On the other hand, merit-lists are prepared by the Deemed-to-be-University for students applying to M.Tech and other PG courses.
Note: Under B.Tech course, 70% of the seats are to be filled by Maharashtra domicile students and remaining 30% for all India. However, 100% seats in the B.Pharm program are reserved for Maharashtra State.
