Shivalik College of Engineering Dehradun Campus: Photos, Virtual Tour

A very beautiful campus but a little far from my place but luckily transportation facilities are provided by college. There is a king sized parking lot as many students come by their own vehicles. Our departmental building is bigger and better than any Engineer department block as ours was built lately and have more facilities then the rest. There is a cafeteria and few gardens to hangout inside the campus.

My character has changed ever since I have joined this college as I was a little introvert but my college life has helped me open up. Now I join communities and societies of the college, as there is no discrimination done. We also were welcomed by our seniors during freshers and off late the annual fest ‘Shiva’ fest was as amazing as for the first time in my life, I have experienced a live jam session.Read Full Review

Our campus is unique, as firstly it is close to FRI, which is Dehradun's top visited site. Hence, a hustle and bustle close to our campus is seen. Area of the college is around 15-20 acres and there are five separate buildings for each department. There is just one large auditorium and college have its own sports ground too. There are two cafes and a ‘U’ shaped garden that has the hoarding of ‘I Love Shivalik College of Engineering.’

With just 4 hours of classes, campus life is quite easy. I commute through bus facility provided by the college and so it makes it even easier. We have a two-day annual fest called ‘Shiva Fest’ and Engineering students also enjoy their tech fest called ‘Shiva Tech’. We lack flamboyancy as crowd is normal and so is everything but for me my campus is quite peaceful.Read Full Review

Here we have different blocks for different courses and each course have their labs and fields like in computer science we have total five air conditioned computer labs and classes have projectors install in them. We have basketball court, football field, and a gym inside the college. We have a garden where friends can sit and enjoy at evening. We have labs for pharmacy and agriculture field and a big ground where fest and other events are organised.

The campus life in my college is very good. Here we have big events like sports day, fest, hackathon, alumni meet, and Shiva tech. In my college there are 9 or 10 clubs that are in both technical and cultural activities. Here we have training offers starting from 2 year and internship also and in 3 to 4 year we have a placement drive. Also we have lots of seminars and webinars related to placements and companies.Read Full Review
