Overall Rating
I felt Shivalik College of Engineering is one of the best choices for studying in Dehradun. Experience that i have had here is unbelievable. From academics to infrastructure, everything at the College is good and available for the development of the students. My overall learning experience here has been overwhelming and so is life beyond academics.
 

Academics Rating
In the 1st semester of my BBA course, i felt quite normal but in the 2nd semester, we were introduced to the real business world. In most of the Private Colleges, academics are sadly a low key affair but at SCE Dehradun it isn't. I secured admission in this College on the basis of my marks in Class 12th examination.
Including one time deposit, registration charges, tuition fees, and taxes, about Rs. 1,00,000/- is an annual fee of BBA course at my College.
 

Faculty Rating
The faculties of the College are quite good and educated. Their teaching style is very interactive and helps us to learn things effectively. Also, their teaching has been highly dynamic depending upon what they are teaching. Blackboards, projectors, etc. are used by the teachers to offer education to the students.
 

Placement Rating
Since it is primarily an Engineering College, the top placements are for Engineering students. However, BBA students also get the placements opportunities here with median package of around 4-5 LPA, which i feel is a good deal.
 

Hostel Rating
Sharing rooms are available at the boys and girls hostel of the College. It has almost all the facilities that a hostel should have including spacious room with cupboard, shelf, and beds. Mess is clean and serves good food but my only issue is common washrooms as apart from that everything about hostels of SCE Dehradun is fantastic.
 

Infrastructure Rating
I will start with classrooms first, as projectors and adequate seating is provided and most of the classrooms also have ACs now. Gym is fantastic and sports facilities again are very satisfying. Other than that, multiple facilities such as library, canteen, etc. are present at Shivalik College of Engineering.
 

Campus Rating
Campus life is peaceful & safe for students as guards and cameras are available at the College. Sports Fest and Shiva Fest are 2 of the biggest events that SCE Campus hosts every year.

    Since everything is available at SCE Dehradun campus. It even helps students in securing jobs at MNCs.     Shivalik College of Engineering will sound like a good option as an Engineering college but Management Studies are also quite potent here. Coming from a conservative family and studying in an all girls School until HSC, SCE Dehradun has helped me evolve.     SCE, Dehradun is definitely a very potent name when it comes to Engineering Colleges of Dehradun. It is famous for its management program. I am doing BBA from here and can proudly say that rather than choosing various self-financed universities of Dehradun, which charge pomp in the name of fees, I have chosen a wiser option.     The overall review about my college is that in this college the fees is less as compare to other colleges in Dehradun and also my college has NAAC A+ which makes me to choose this college.
