Guru Nanak Institute of Technology Kolkata Reviews on Placement, Faculty, Hostel by Students

Until now, my experience In GNIT has been quite nice. I am currently in my second year in 4th semester, one of the reason why I chose to study here is because of its ROI (isn’t that high) and its location. It is pretty close from my place thus; my travelling time gets reduced by a lot which helps me manage other activities of mine. Now coming to the college scenario, it has got quite a chilled out scenario unless you get into the bad books of the faculty members. Though the curriculum followed is an old one, people here focus more on the conventional study rather than focusing on the skill set. If you are looking for an institution which is going to prepare you for competitive exams, GNIT would be your best choice. In case you are looking for something practical and want to build your skill set, then don't consider coming here. I am studying in this college from 1.5 years. At the 1st year my experience is so good and at the 1st semester I enjoyed the college life a lot. After some time, I was pressurised which is as expected as a B.Tech student. It’s a college where many types of courses are here but I have particularly chosen Food technology because in West Bengal there is so much less college where The stream Food technology exists. GNIT one of them where Food technology is exist so I choose this stream.Read Full Review

GNIT is my dream college. The surroundings of the college premises are very nice. Our classes are maintained so well. The labs are very well-maintained. Our faculty members are very good and very helpful towards the students. College's seniors are very supportive. College library is very well maintained, neat, and clean. Many books are available there. Our Placement Cell is very good and many of our students got good placements.Read Full Review
