JNTU Kakinada Campus: Photos, Virtual Tour

The campus of JNTU Kakinada is spread over 100 acres of land. The campus has several academic blocks which are dedicated to different departments. It has library which is available 24/7 for the students and it has huge collection of academic books and other resources. The classrooms are average and according to me, they should install a projector in the classrooms so that the students learn and understand the concept better. The University offers sports facilities for games like Cricket, Football, Badminton, etc. My favorite place is the canteen where we talk with our friends and the seniors as well. Overall, the infrastructure is good but there is a room for improvement as well.

Overall, my campus life till is outstanding. Apart from the academics, we have a lot of time to explore other fields as well. There are around 6000 students in our University. There are several clubs such as Ideathon club, Hexawatt club, Blockchain club, Dance club, Music club, Sports club, etc. All these clubs not only provide practical exposure but also help students to improve their communication skills, social life, etc. The University conducts limited fests. It conducts 2 fests, one of them is conducted in the month of September and the other one is organised in the month of April. Fresher’s party is also organised for the students. The entire University is green, and spread over an area of more than 100 acres, with good conference halls and auditoriums. The library is huge, with wide collection of books on varied concepts. There are also books from the 1900s and there are also some original editions. Undoubtedly, the vibe that the library has is my favorite part about the entire University. The stadium is huge and there is also an indoor stadium. There are facilities for various sports. There is a separate research corner in the library, for anyone who has an interest in those aspects. There is also a huge Innovation Centre which focuses on helping students with their projects.

My campus life is good. The crowd of JNTU Kakinada is highly competitive, with everyone having varied aims. They're hard working and focused. The clubs are newly budding, with students interested in many of these. The technical fest has various workshops, catering different skills, stalls, flash mobs and cultural activities. The campus light up during the fest and it is the best time of the year for the students.Read Full Review

The academic block was big. All the labs for CSE, ECE, EEE, Mechanical, and Civil Engineering students are available here. They are accessible anytime in the day. The labs have enough computers for a batch. All the electrical components for practical are majorly available in the labs.

There was an annual fest in which singers come and sing. This was the only fest that was organised by the university. There was no clubs like in the other universities or colleges. Sports activities are held here on regular basis.Read Full Review
