My Review on JNTU Kakinada

Overall Rating
I chose this university because of my uncle's advice and rank in my EAMCET examination. I was interested in EEE so I got the same branch in this university. My overall experience was good. The campus was around 110 acres. This university has B.Tech, M.Tech and Ph.D courses also.
 

Academics Rating
My branch was Electronics and Electrical Engineering (EEE). The requirement to get seat into this university is through writing EAMCET examination which is conducted yearly. According to rank, the branches were allocated in the counseling round. To apply for counseling you should have a pass certificate of grade 12th. I selected this course due to my huge interest in electrical department and I wanted to explore more.
 

Faculty Rating
The entire faculty delivers good lectures and also in a detailed manner. The core subjects were explained in a very good way which is very helpful for GATE aspirants. Many professors have a teaching experience of more than 4 years. We are also allowed to ask doubts after the teaching sessions which are helpful for students who do not understand the topic.
 

Placement Rating
The placement stats are average here. Highest package was from CSE department. EEE branch students also give other exams after degree. Average package was around 6 LPA. It varies yearly according to companies.
 

Hostel Rating
The hostel facilities are below average here.
 

Infrastructure Rating
The academic block was big. All the labs for CSE, ECE, EEE, Mechanical, and Civil Engineering students are available here. They are accessible anytime in the day. The labs have enough computers for a batch. All the electrical components for practical are majorly available in the labs.
 

Campus Rating
There was an annual fest in which singers come and sing. This was the only fest that was organised by the university. There was no clubs like in the other universities or colleges. Sports activities are held here on regular basis.

    The institute is a very reputed university not only in my city but also in the state. The campus life is very comfortable to students.     I am currently studying in my final year B.Tech in Computer Science and Engineering, which is the most celebrated branch of all time. My overall experience with the college a medium of pros and cons. positives as well as negatives. There will be drawbacks at any time for as much as in any college.
