Life at Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University, Kakinada

Overall Rating
The institute is a very reputed university not only in my city but also in the state. The campus life is very comfortable to students. I always hoped to getting selected for this university as it is the best university in the state. I have got selected for the Electrical and Electronics Engineering course. The placements are also good and the experience of self learning always helps students to reach goals in life.
 

Academics Rating
The eligibility to getting selected in this university is to get good rank in EAMCET test. The cut-off rank is varied based on the reservations also. But knowledge and practice always matters for everyone to get enrolled in this course. My motive for getting enrolled in this course is to get a high paying job in good reputed company.
 

Faculty Rating
The faculty is very good and experienced. Many of the faculty members are very experienced working in the institute for many years. They share their valuable experiences with the students which helps the students very well. Not only teaching whatever is there in the textbook but also letting us to learn by self moulds us into a very good personality.
 

Placement Rating
Yes, we have a Placement Cell providing placement drives from different companies. Tests and interviews are provided to students for getting placed into the companies. The companies frequently coming are L&T, TCS, Accenture, Medha, Moschip, etc.
 

Hostel Rating
I'm not a hosteller but as my friends experiences I can say that the hostel premises are very neat and clean. The food is also clean and comfortable.
 

Infrastructure Rating
The academic blocks of the whole university are very good and clean. The maintenance is very well done. The classrooms are well equipped with projectors and smart TVs wherever neccessary. The washrooms are there in every block for women and men. Waiting room is also available. The college surroundings are good and natural.
 

Campus Rating
The campus life can be described as enjoyable and skilful. The events and workshops are conducted by alumni of our college and also some reputed organizations. These help students in getting real world knowledge. Clubs, competitions, and fests are conducted frequently held. Fests are organized by students giving them managing skills.

    Getting into this University was one of the most unexpected things that happened to me, and it has shaped me in so many ways.     I chose this university because of my uncle's advice and rank in my EAMCET examination. I was interested in EEE so I got the same branch in this university. My overall experience was good.     I am currently studying in my final year B.Tech in Computer Science and Engineering, which is the most celebrated branch of all time. My overall experience with the college a medium of pros and cons. positives as well as negatives. There will be drawbacks at any time for as much as in any college.
