Bhavan’s College is very great when it comes to daily commute to the college as the metro station (Azad Nagar) is very close. The overall college and academics is great. The laboratories are spacious and well equipped, the classrooms are big and some of the classroom have projector for better understanding of the theory. My subject is majors in Psychology. For studying Psychology, it is best college one could chose. The main reason of choosing this college was that the college is fully autonomous, which makes it more appealing for our future studies in different universities. The campus of the college is expanded with nature, which makes students feel more welcoming in the natural environment. I joined during junior college, and because there was a massive mismatch between the education and co-curricular activities, I scored less in HSC, and I had to be stuck at Bhavans for graduation. In the name of lectures, there will be mass bunks. In the name of studies, there will be a dance competition preparation for 15th August. Thus, you can have anything at Bhavans but studies. Even though I wasn't that serious while I joined the junior college, after the time passed and I knew that mere graduation won't lead me anywhere in life, I realized that I made a huge mistake by joining this college. The peer colleges such as NM College and Mithibai College take graduation classes seriously, but at Bhavans no attendance issue. In the entire five years, I haven't even attended ten lectures in all. Even practicals I copied from someone and submitted. The irony was that I got more than him even after copying the entire assignment. The crowd was good in fact best among all the colleges between Borivali and Andheri. The campus is good, and students do bunk the lectures, but the campus was still full because there's no better time-pass during college hours than being a part of the lively campus of Bhavans college.Read Full Review
