MES's Garware College of Commerce Placements: Average & Highest Package 2025, Pune

Here I need to pause a bit. College does have a placement cell. The respective faculty and students work hard to get the companies for campus recruitments. The placement cell arranges mock interviews, counseling services, and training for students. As per my experience, the efforts in the right direction did not give enough results, and very few companies responded. Not many recruitments are happening at the graduate level is Nil. Those attempting for a Master’s and Ph.D. get some opportunities. At my batch of Bachelor, only seven companies responded and conducted interviews. In these seven companies, a total of 40 % of students got recruited. The highest package received was Rs. 8.5 lakhs Per annum. The average package offered was 6.95 Lakhs. If you have such teachers, how can 1 expect to get placed from college. Thus don’t see the information provided by them on their site. Yes, some companies visited the college during the final year and some 15-20% of people got placed as well. The college started running a placement program off late and I have heard that the ratio has gone higher. I wish it was the same in our time as well. Companies like Religare Enterprises, IIFL Holdings, and LIC came to hire and to be honest left without much of a cheer. I also attended the placement interview but unfortunately got rejected as I hardly knew about the corporate world. I can’t blame teachers alone for that. Still, I feel the college should have done their bit in grooming students.

All the students who got placed got an annual package of Rs. 3-5 lakhs. To survive in Pune I feel is not enough and therefore most of the students decided to indulge in higher studies. The B.Com students too, 40% of them already indulged the C.A. course.Read Full Review
