Sree Balaji Medical College and Hospital Chennai Campus: Photos, Virtual Tour

Campus includes hospital and academic block. The infrastructure is bit old. Renovation work is going on as of now. Railway station and airport are nearby to the college. Seating capacity of the classrooms is above 250. Classrooms have centralized AC, 2 big screens (one on each side), etc. Library is also having centralized AC. Auditorium and conference halls are decent but they are being renovated now. Sports facilities are also decent enough. The gym is also operational now.

Campus life is average. There is no fest or cultural programs in the campus. College crowd is decent enough. Festivals like Pongal and others are celebrated here. Extracurricular activities in the campus are relatively lesser. Now, the management is working on creating the sports teams now. Sports events are organized rarely. Campus is relatively smaller is size with multiple other colleges, a school, hotel and Hospital different from the college Hospital. The locality is good with local shops, restaurant and shopping marts close by. The classes are big and spacious with a capacity of 280 to 300 students. This is easy to accommodate the normal batch of our college which is 250 in number. There is one library which has most of the books, 2 seminar halls, one in college block and one in Hospital block and every department has their own separate labs. There is one canteen that serves local South Indian food and it maintains good quality of food. Sports facility is below average. These are very low in number so there is always some waiting.

College crowd is good. Most of the students are very friendly. As being non-local student, there is little to no discrimination. There is no exact campus life at the college but the academics are superb.Read Full Review
