MDI Gurgaon Faculty Profile

The best professors in the country are what you will find at MDI. Award winning professors like Ashutosh Das and Sanjay Bakshi are a part of MDI. The teaching was simple at MDI as the professors have adopted the case study style of teaching. The second-year course was highly demanding and thorough but professors made it look simple. We were even hit by the Covid scare during the final semester. Apart from Good Morning, the faculty never said anything to students in general. They would come to take the class and repeat at least 10-15 times, ‘guys if you have any doubts, you can ask’. Then, nobody replied but let the semester approach, and we would rush to their quarters to take classes or have a detailed discussion on some topics. If I were in their shoes, I would have never helped such students but not the faculty of MDI. They had no problems teaching us, even in their quarters. Most of them were aged but still had friendly relations with most students as we could crack any slapstick joke in front of them, and even they would laugh out loud at that.Read Full Review

Without naming anyone, I want you all to know, that one of our professors has been teaching in MDI since 1997. He has seen all the changes as he been in constant touch with the industry. His experience was the biggest help to us not just in studies but in helping us in our projects. All the professors were class and every year the batch size is of 240 students here and professors know each student by their name in just a matter of time. Their simplicity has touched my soul because with the professors you are close, you can call them at any point in time.Read Full Review
