Government Engineering College Palakkad Campus: Photos, Virtual Tour

This is a part of college which needs improvement. Personally, I am not a big fan of my college's infrastructure. If you have big expectations about campus get ready to be disappointed. College has a good central library and there are department libraries as well. The college canteen is very small to provide for the whole college. College offers transportation facilities for day scholars which is effective. All the necessary facilities are available but it is not upto the mark (personally).

My journey at GEC is yet to be completed but till now it was not satisfactory. I had big expectations and it couldn't meet them. There are many active clubs in the college like IEEE, GDSC etc. Despite being a government college, there are not many fests held here. Technical fest is held every 2 years. The college is located in a village. It is calm and nature. The infrastructure is amazing. It is well maintained and clean. The size of each classroom is average and can accommodate about 75 students. There are libraries, grounds, canteen, and much more in this college. The canteen is good and has good food. Sports are well kept. My favorite thing about this college is the cleanliness.

My campus life is amazing and I have many friends both seniors and juniors. The crowd is amazing and all of us share same vibe. There are many clubs. There are many extracurricular activities organized by the college. There are many fests and events both religious and non-religious. Annual fests happen once every three years.Read Full Review

Every department are in a building. Now a new building is built little far away. The new building is for electrical and electronics engineering department. The main building structure is so good and creative. The symbol for tech fest is taken from college structure. In center of the main building is an open air stage.

Campus life is so good. There are 2 or more programs conducted in a month. There so many different types of clubs in college. And so many programs held conducted by these clubs. Most of programs conducted by college union. There is no restriction in dressing, college uniforms are only in first year. The tech fest are conducted in after every 2 years.
