GITAM University Fees Structure & Courses 2024, Visakhapatnam

Academically GITAM is okay with lots of pros and cons. Recently the director of education for GITAM has changed and we expect a lot of changes from now on, but till now studies are pretty average. Internals are a sum of 70 and externals being 30, we can get good marks if we get good marks in quizzes and assignments. I joined in B.Tech program in here with branch being CSE. I joined CSE because CSE is the branch right now with a lot of scope to get good jobs in near future. Eligibility for joining in this program is writing GAT - GITAM Admission Test and getting good marks in this, results in getting scholarship.Read Full Review

Academics are good, for a university taking nearly 3 lakh fee studies seem pretty dull though. Comparing other universities of this tier, GITAM is pretty back in this regard. Although the syllabus on paper is very good, I think implementation of this is pretty bad. Exams are made to be written easy to suit the students in here. Most of the students in here are pretty chill with little to no interest toward studies, so to suit those exams are made easy.Read Full Review

Academics are good here, mentor is appointed for each student, who takes care of us, and he gives the constant reminder of our attendance and marks to our parents. He is like our guardian in here. Most of the students here are from CSE course. In our batch more than 2000 students are from CSE Course. CSE is the best course in this college hence most of the students join this course. We can join here through an exam known as GATE or we can also join through EAMCET mains or board exam results. Basically anyone can join this college; acceptance rate is as high as 90%.Read Full Review
