Education at GITAM

Overall Rating
The campus life in GITAM is very vibrant as there is much freedom and no stress. Apart from this, good infrastructure, smart classrooms, experienced faculty, and best placements are some of the reasons for choosing this institute. I would suggest that others to visit here as the campus has wide range of facilities and programs. It has beach view along the coast.
 

Academics Rating
The University takes admissions through 2 ways. One is through Direct Admission by paying full fee without any scholarship and second one is through GAT Entrance exam in which a student needs to have minimum marks of 50% in their 10th and 12th standard from a recognised board. There is wide range of courses across various branches offered with multiple benefits.
 

Faculty Rating
Every faculty has a Ph.D Degree and minimum experience of 7 to 9 years. They are very interactive with students. From discipline to concerns, everything can be resolved just by approaching them. The communication can be one to one in classroom. In online mode, students can communicate through mail or personal number or app of university. They not only teach us, but also help us in developing our personal skills.
 

Placement Rating
Yes, there's a placement cell which looks after students’ placements. They conduct 15 days training program and workshops with mock interviews and demo sessions in order to make a student better while performing at placement interview.
 

Hostel Rating
Yes, there are residential facilities. For boys there are 4 blocks divided among seniors and juniors. Girls live in 4 blocks separately. The rooms are AC and Non-AC. Food is unlimited including breakfast, lunch, snacks, and dinner. The hostel rooms also have beautiful beach views and good Wi-Fi connection.
 

Infrastructure Rating
The infrastructure is very extraordinary as it has various blocks with its own auditoriums and classrooms. The classrooms have smart built technology with central ACs, sound proof walls, and high monitoring devices to avoid malpractice. It has vibrant community atmosphere all over the campus with stunning designs and layouts of structures.
 

Campus Rating
There are 46 clubs where it has 23 sports clubs which organise intra-college and several competitions. These 46 clubs that help students to minimize their stress and learn something new in various ways. There are 10-12 fests in a year. Every month or 2, a fest is organised, where students create bonds and make new friends.

    As a student I expected a lot from my college. Every student have these expectations from there college. At first I was preparing for JEE and all to get admission in IITs, but unfortunately I haven't made it. Still I was searching for college like that which can compete at that level. So why not GITAM.     I choose this university because of placement percentage. My university provide 80% placement. My university is good for all activities. For effective teaching they use digital classes. There is one indoor stadium and one outdoor stadium. There are several temples to visit in special occasion. For food there are several canteens like Vanilla which I like to visit twice a month....
