Thakur Institute of Management Studies and Research Mumbai Campus: Photos, Virtual Tour

About the infrastructure they have classrooms with good seating capacity. All classes are fully air-conditioned classrooms. There are library facilities with available books. They have Computer labs, Auditorium & Conference halls for the students. My favorite place is garden area where we play Badminton in our free time. There is First Aid room for Emergency and Canteen facilities for the food. There is also Student Skill Center room for the guest lectures. My favorite part in the campus are 2 recreational rooms, where several Indoor & Outdoor games can be played.

My Campus life was good. It was fun meeting several new faces and then it turned up to have a good strong bond with each other. The overall crowd is good and supportive. There are extracurricular activities where students can participate. They organise Garba night and Freshers’ party for the students. There are various cells where students can be a part. There are cells like 'Fintech', 'Entrepreneurship' and 'Innovation', 'Social responsibility' and many more.Read Full Review

The campus is huge and is one of the landmark of Kandivali. As Thakur Village where the college is located is a landmark of Kandivali East. Talking about the campus, it’s huge and is well-maintained. TIMSR building is the best building you will find as the classrooms were centrally air-conditioned and so was the entire building. The building had a library, auditorium, and Ideation room (Group Study Room), and Thakur College of Engineering was right next to our building. Our building also had a mini sports room but I have not seen anyone using it. Showoff obviously as the building has some great lighting, lobby, and most importantly the digital library. The cafeteria on our floor was an ice-breaker during the lectures break. A five-star hotel can take inspiration from TIMSR building as it was so damn well constructed. The campus had many other college buildings and there was a cricket field which hardly had any grass. I wish they had built clay courts instead of that. The infrastructure is great as the location, connectivity, and the college building are great.

Case studies, classes, and then homework as we couldn’t finish it at the college so had to do that at night as well. The classrooms never made us feel away from home as the chairs and tables and the ACs were better than what I have at my home. That made me go to college daily and I haven’t bunk for 2 days continuously. The campus was addictive as there were students from other departments who used to come to us as they felt we are at a better space then them to guide them. The events and fests at the college are every week thing as the notice board is always full of that.Read Full Review
