TIMSR Mumbai: Admission, Fees and More

Overall Rating
My overall experience in TIMSR Mumbai is good. I chose this Institute as it has a good reputation and I was passionate to do my Masters from this Institute. The other reason for me to choosing this Institute was that it is comfortable for commuting. The lectures taken by the teachers are up to the mark. Apart from the studies there are various interesting events to take up as a student. The infrastructure is also well maintained. I would recommend others for taking admissions in this particular Institute.
 

Academics Rating
The course I chose is MMS and I was passionate to take up this course. The eligibility criteria is one has to give MHT CET exams and score above 93 percent. After scoring good, admission process will be communicated by the Institute and they will guide the students properly. Lastly Academics are also a part to shape your knowledge as an individually which will help you to boost your confidence.
The fees structure is moderate. The course consists of 2 yrs and it cost is Rs. 2,80,000/- annually which includes the tuition fees. There are scholarships provided for the students of EWS, OBC, etc. There is merit based score scholarship available.
 

Faculty Rating
Faculties are very helpful and co-operative. There teaching techniques are based on solving real life case studies. They teach us from PPTs, smart boards and announce group discussion for students. Teachers are very friendly. They guide us throughout our journey. All the faculty members are professional and experienced. They have good problem solving ability. The bonding between teacher and student is good. Teachers are approachable and appreciated.
 

Placement Rating
Yes, TIMSR Mumbai offers placement to the students. Placements are up to mark according to the students’ performance.
 

Hostel Rating
Yes, they provide accommodations to the students.
 

Infrastructure Rating
About the infrastructure they have classrooms with good seating capacity. All classes are fully air-conditioned classrooms. There are library facilities with available books. They have Computer labs, Auditorium & Conference halls for the students. My favorite place is garden area where we play Badminton in our free time. There is First Aid room for Emergency and Canteen facilities for the food. There is also Student Skill Center room for the guest lectures. My favorite part in the campus are 2 recreational rooms, where several Indoor & Outdoor games can be played.
 

Campus Rating
My Campus life was good. It was fun meeting several new faces and then it turned up to have a good strong bond with each other. The overall crowd is good and supportive. There are extracurricular activities where students can participate. They organise Garba night and Freshers’ party for the students. There are various cells where students can be a part. There are cells like 'Fintech', 'Entrepreneurship' and 'Innovation', 'Social responsibility' and many more.

    Thakur’s management college is for those who can’t work hard and get admissions in the A-Rated colleges. TIMSR Mumbai is a 2-tier in terms of B-Schools but for people staying in western belt in Mumbai, the college is not bad either.
