I feel lucky to be a student of Somaiya Institute of Management Studies and Research, Mumbai. I have spent a few years of my learning phase of my life in this college but have thousands of thoughts and memories about it. I feel that this college has not only helped in my education but has played an important role in the overall development of a student. Along with education here we get a lot of different opportunities to polish our personalities and experience a number of different things. The college phase of life is very precious and every student has a lot of expectations from their college and being a part of this college will never disappoint them. Since it has been sometime since I have passed out from this college I don’t think remember all of it. Will still share my thoughts on the college that has landed me to a beautiful life once I finished my post-graduation from the college. I was a part of SIMSR back in 2014-2016 batch. My journey at the college began with a week long program that included various sessions on anger management, placement opportunities and others. The beginning of the session was nothing short of a ride as in the second week, the college has a tradition of organizing a fest, All Izz Well where each new student has to showcase his/her talent be it singing, dancing, or acting. This actually made our connect stronger with our seniors and teachers. The people who did well started getting extra attention and unfortunately though I missed out on that I was not good in that. It was after that, that our actual journey at the college started with lectures, presentations, and attending guest lectures, case study and of course project report making.Read Full Review
