K J Somaiya Institute of Management Hostel Fees: Rooms, Food & Rules, Mumbai

Our institute has two separate hostels for girls and boys. The name of the girls hostel is Maitreyi and the name of the boys hostel is Sandipani. All the facilities are provided to the hostel students. The basic facilities like internet, activity rooms, a well equipped gym and laundromat. The hostel also has a big common area where all the host learners can spend time together. And this thing is not only for the enjoyment of students but they also learn to socialize with everyone. The hostels have a nice student mess where tasty, healthy food is provided. Also along with all the facilities safety is another factor that is taken care of. Internet connections are provided at the hostel. Along with all these medical facilities are also provided in the hostel. And regular health checkups are also conducted to make sure that the students are physically and mentally fit. Our college also takes care of our mental health and for that recreational facilities are also available where students can burst their stress.Read Full Review

The college has a hostel but again not worth it. A tiny room is provided to accommodate three and it was not a compulsion to stay at the hostel. However, rooms would have hardly mattered as there was no time to spend in rooms and the hostel had a huge common area and that was the place where students used to gather and do their chores post college. Socializing was the best part that hostel taught the students and me not being a part of that was always missed. The hostel also provided food and that too 4 times in a day. Students like me who were non-hostelities were not allowed to enter the premised and I am saying all this from what I heard from my friends. From there experience I can say that one must experience a hostel life once in their lifetime.Read Full Review
