Maharaja Institute of Technology Mysore Campus: Photos, Virtual Tour

Campus is clean and good. The library is spacious with internet facilities for proper studies. Also institute provides ATM facilities and stationary inside the campus. There is a basic gym in the institute and the canteen food is average. There is a bakery, chat center, juice center and a canteen in the institute.

This institute is good for the study minded students because it has school rules like watchman’s won’t let you out in middle, institute timings are 9 to 4 with lunch break from 1:15 to 2 and interval break from 11 to 11:15, students can’t go out of the campus without the permission letter signed with their respective mentors and HOD, no mobile phones in college except in canteen and buses, etc. The cultural events are a bit boring because they keep classes in the morning and start the events on 2 onwards till 4 which make the event boring. MITM has main building in square shape with library (which is new), canteen area, open air theatre for events and programs, chats and bakery, stationary store, huge cricket ground, football ground, tennis court, basketball court, huge forest surrounding, bus stand area MBA block 1st year block, theatre rooms computer labs and huge mechanical labs.

Campus life is excellent, if you are not a first year student. In first year, the administration is strict to students and after 2nd year then you will fit in the collage rules and seems to be good at the time.Read Full Review

When I entered the college campus in the year 2021, the college was too empty but presently They are new buildings. Recently they built a 3 floored library building which includes great infrastructure for students to spend some valuable time with books. Even the canteen is not that bad. But presently there is lot of students and canteen has less space and even the auditorium is small.

I can promise that campus life wouldn't be that good because of strict faculties and strict watchman but it depends on the friend circle you create, if they matches your vibe then you can create cherish full memories inside the campus. But there is attendance tracking system or app provided by our college faculties and if you bunk a class then directly the notification will be sent to your parents so beware of such things and try to enjoy your college life within limits.Read Full Review
