MIT Mysore Hostel Fees: Rooms, Food & Rules

The Maharaja Institute of Technology (MIT), Mysore offers accommodation amenities to the male & female students separately. Additionally, the residences are situated inside the campus, providing students with the close proximity to the academic buildings.

Outstation students studying at the MIT Mysore can stay at the on-campus residences which have an extensive number of rooms. These rooms contain requisite living amenities & fixtures such as storage space, beds, study table, etc.

Prescribed accommodation fees need to be paid by the students in case they want to opt for the hostel facilities provided by the Institute. Moreover, the MIT Mysore hostel fee is Rs. 75,000/- for a year.

• Ragging is a criminal offence & students who are found involved in this act will have to go through strict disciplinary actions.
• Storage & consumption of liquor, drugs, and other intoxicating substances are forbidden at the hostels of the Institute.
• Boarders are expected to inform and seek permission from their wardens in advance for staying out of their respective hostels for a night.
• During their time at the hostels, residents shall not practice begging, stealing, smoking, fighting, arguing or other violent acts.
• Students shall keep their surroundings & other hostel arena clean and tidy as well as refrain themselves from sticking pictures or scribbling the walls.
• Cash, jewelry, laptops or other valuable items should be kept in the hostel room at students' own risk as any authority is not answerable for loss of such items.

Female & Male students are provided with excellent accommodation amenities to ensure that they have excellent experience. Furthermore, these hostels are situated inside the MIT Mysore Campus. Aside from this, the hostel complexes have a number of rooms with amenities such as beds, almirah, chairs, table, and other facilities for the comfortability & conveniences of the students.

Moreover, a spacious and clean mess is present at the Institute where students are served balanced, quality, and nutritious meals during specified timings. A fully-equipped gymnasium is also available to ensure that hostellers remain fit & healthy.

Besides this, security personnel and surveillance cameras across the arena make sure of the safety of the hostellers. Wardens & other competent staff have also been appointed by the Institute management to create a feeling of home away from home environment at the MIT Mysore hostels.
