• The CLAT application fee once paid will not be refunded & is non-adjustable. Also, students have to pay the additional bank charges that may apply during online fee payment. Details of the extra bank charges will be displayed on the payment gateway page after the aspirants select the payment mode.
• During fee payment, applicants can also opt for purchasing the CLAT previous year papers by paying Rs. 500/- in addition to the requisite application fee.
• It is not mandatory to pay the registration fee on the day of filling-in the application form. However, aspiring students should ensure they pay the requisite fee before the registration portal closes.

Step 1: Online CLAT Exam Registration 2026

• Go to ‘consortiumofnlus.ac.in’& click on the ‘Register’ button displayed on the screen.
• The registration form will open. Now, enter Mobile Number & email ID, and generate an OTP for verification.
• After this, select a password & confirm the same.

Step 2: Filling-In of CLAT 2026 Application Form & Fee Payment

• To fill in the application form, login using the registered mobile number and password.
• Upon login, a new page will be displayed. Choose the requisite program and then click on ‘Apply for CLAT 2026’ button to start the application procedure.
• After this, enter the personal information, communication details, educational qualification, etc. correctly.
• Select 3 test centre preferences in the order of priority.
• Post this, fill-in the reservation details (if any) & select the NLUs in the order of preference for admission.
• After completing the application form, agree to the declaration form displayed on the screen, and click on the ‘Submit’ tab.
• After successfully submitting the CLAT application form, students have to pay the exam fee via online mode.

* It is not mandatory to complete the application process in a single session. Candidates can save the application at any stage and submit the duly filled form before the due date.

• Navigate to the official website & select the ‘Forgot Password?’ tab displayed on the login screen.
• Now, enter the registered mobile number, and click on the ‘Request OTP’ button.
• Click on ‘Reset Password’, and enter the Mobile Number & OTP. Select a new password and then confirm the password again. Select the ‘Change Password’ tab.

Note: In case students do not receive the OTP then they can click on ‘Resend OTP’ displayed on the ‘Reset Password’ screen.

• Students must fill-in the application form with correct details that are mentioned in the official documents. Incorrect & incomplete forms will be rejected by the concerned authority.
• In case of mismatch in details mentioned in the application form & the original documents, the provisional admission of the applicants will be cancelled immediately.
