NIFT Result 2026: How to Check the Result, Rank Card & Topper List

The NIFT Entrance Exam result for Stage II has been declared on 3^rd June 2026. On 20^th March 2026, the result for the Stage I was made available to the students. The entrance examination is conducted for admission in various UG, PG, Lateral Entry, and Doctoral programs that are offered in the Design discipline at the participating Institutions.

The National Testing Agency (NTA) conducts the National Institute of Fashion Technology (NIFT) Entrance Exam once a year. It will publish the NIFT Entrance Exam result 2026 on ‘exams.nta.nic.in/niftee’ and ‘nift.ac.in’.

Students who pass the entrance test can secure admission in the UG, PG, Lateral Entry, and Doctoral programs like B.Des, B.Des (Lateral Entry), B.F.Tech, B.F.Tech (Lateral Entry), M.Des, MFM, etc. NIFT campuses located at Delhi, Bangalore, Kolkata, Jodhpur, Patna, Bhopal, and ISDI School of Design and Innovation Mumbai & World University of Design Sonepat accept the entrance test scores.

Applicants who took the test should abide by the below-given steps for checking their NIFT Entrance Exam result 2026:

• Firstly, go to ‘exams.nta.nic.in/niftee’.
• Under the ‘Candidate Activity’ section, click on the scorecard link for the respective program.
• The login page will appear. In the same, choose the examination from the dropdown list, and provide the application number, password, and the displayed security pin in the designated boxes.
• Now, press on the ‘Login’ option.
• Properly check the details reflected in the scorecard.
• Lastly, download and take a printout of the scorecard.

The NIFT Entrance Exam result 2026 / scorecard will comprise extensive details about the overall performance of the respective students in all stages. Some of the details that will be included in the same are listed below:

• Applicant’s Name
• Roll Number
• Application Number
• Date of Birth
• Student’s Photograph
• Component-Wise Marks
• Final Weighted Score
• Program-Wise Merit Rank
• Category Rank (if applicable)

* If students find any discrepancy in their scorecard then they should promptly bring the same into notice of the NTA Helpdesk (011-40759000).

The final / combined scores mentioned in the NIFT Entrance Exam result will be evaluated by combining the students’ performance in Stage I and II, as applicable. Since the General Ability Test (GAT) is held in multiple stages, normalisation or equipercentile methods may be applied to make certain applicants are fairly assessed.

Also, in such a case, normalised marks will be reflected in the scorecards and will be further used for ranking purposes. A single and final merit list will be prepared for the students for the respective programs solely based on their performance in different components of the entrance test.

*It is to be noted that the marks of Creative Ability Test (CAT) and Situation Test / Personal Interview components will not be normalised.

Note: After the declaration of results, applicants’ requests for rechecking, re-evaluation, reviewing of marks, copy inspection, etc. will not be entertained under any circumstances.
