NIFT Syllabus 2026: Check Subject Wise Topics and Weightage

The NIFT syllabus 2026 is prescribed by the NTA, the exam conducting body for 2 parts i.e., GAT and CAT. The General Ability Test (GAT) is conducted in online mode (CBT) whereas the Creative Ability Test (CAT) is conducted in offline mode (PBT). For the aspirants, there will be written exams (GAT & CAT) and Situation Test / Personal Interview. According to the NIFT syllabus 2026 exam, students need to prepare on the basis of the topics prescribed separately in both the parts. The GAT is mandatory for all the programs, whereas CAT is for B.Des, B.F.Tech & B.Des, M.Des, M.F.M & M.Des courses.

Creative Ability Test (CAT) in NIFT Entrance Exam 2026 is conducted to test the intuitive ability, observation power, concept development, and design abilities of the students. Candidates are suggested to follow the exam pattern to prepare a strategy to ace the NIFT Entrance exam.
