Historical Background of Indus Business Academy

IBA, right from its inception in 2001, had made it its vision to be a universally revered business institute that will furnish the appropriate academic environment and infrastructure for creating budding business leaders and pioneering entrepreneurs. These potential industrialists and magnates would earnestly strive to reach the pinnacle of their careers, and by doing so, would hugely contribute towards nation-building, thereby promoting economic development and social harmony. IBA’s website mentions its mission in straightforward terms as “to be an institute of excellence in creating and nurturing research orientated academics, entrepreneurship and leadership with sensitivity towards society”.

IBA has always endeavored to be ‘relevant’ instead of simply being ‘run off the mill’ and it is this single-minded approach and go-getting attitude that has enabled the institute to become a blue-eyed boy of the corporate. The institute has collaborations with almost 200 multinationals and corporations that help the students to seek and find employment during placement interviews. On the other hand, Indus Business Academy is actively associated with several national industry and management organizations like CII, IHRD, AIMA, AIMS, and IACBE. These alliances go a long way in enabling the business school to devise industry-oriented curriculums.
