I chose this college as it is located in my hometown. The very first day when I entered the college for admission purpose, I found a positive environment and friendly people. In every aspect including sports, co-curricular activities, etc. the college outshined. It helped a lot of students to showcase their talent. The best thing about the university is its grave focus towards polishing entire personality of students, be it academically or personally. I am glad to be a part of the IIS University as it gave me a platform to upgrade my skill set. There are a couple of opportunities to grab on as per interest. I learnt here that people can freely follow their passion. As I see myself in career, dedication of my faculties was commendable as they helped me become what I am today.

I took admission in Bachelors of Computer Applications (BCA) course. It has been an amazing experience academically as I got to learn new things every day. I always wanted to learn deeply about the computers so I chose the course. Choosing BCA with IIS university was a great decision as my mentors were available for me and helped me in every way possible. This is the best part of academics in my college. My confidence boosted with time and I was able to present myself in classrooms effectively.

When I talk about faculty, they have mastered their subjects very well. The teachers always encouraged the students to make the sessions interactive so that they can get their doubts cleared on the spot. Also, the faculties took extra classes and doubt sessions to solve student queries, if any, and provide them special assistance. Not only the teachers helped students regarding academics but they were always available for personal mentorship. Being Girls University, teachers were understanding and helped the hostel students with their personal issues as well and made them feel like family. In any of the University programs, like annual functions, fresher's party, etc. they used to accompany students and enjoy with them. Also, they encouraged every student to become a part of different activities of the college and thrive in their talents.

There was a unique Placement Cell in the university campus committed towards landing students in their dream career/job. It used to call good and renowned companies from around different parts of India. The goal of placement cell was to monitor timely conduction of interviews with the companies providing suitable job opportunity as per student skills.

The University building operated as the IIS school before, thereby it is old. Though the area of campus is large enough, it needs renovation and proper management in terms of cleanliness and canteens. AC must be set up in each classroom so that students can study comfortably. There is a sports ground big enough to occupy a handsome number of students. They can play various sports, like, Basketball, Cricket, Volleyball, badminton, etc. The ground area is attractive and all the college functions are organised over there. There are 3-4 lecture halls based on which different sessions/workshops are held. Student orientations and guest lectures also take place in lecture halls. This is the best part of IIS University that they give all information related to college and courses in orientations. All the amenities are there but from an infrastructure point of view it can be better.

Personally, I enjoyed the campus life in my college during my BCA tenure. Through whole year, the university conducts different workshops for all course students, parties, fests, etc. to promote friendliness and togetherness. The varying activities are related to dance, music, sports, Zumba/yoga, stand ups, theatre clubs, dramas, etc. There is a special community in college named TedEX. It handles arrangements of different activities held in the college. This group is always interactive with students and motivates them to be part of co-curricular activities. The university calls famous people like influencers, yoga instructors, celebrities, etc and promote engagement with them. There are a number of students who are a part of the cultural activities and represent the college in inter-college competitions. IIS University has stood out in different competitions, be it academics, creativity or talent. The students who take part in fest get to learn a lot and meet with different people daily. Moreover, the students can notice different activities going on in the campus someday or the other.
