Overall, my experience was a mix of positive aspects and areas for improvement. I chose this particular institute because of its contribution in energy sector. While it had its strengths, there were areas that could be enhanced to improve the overall student experience. If you are willing to take admission in this college I would recommend keeping this college in middle of your priority list. Don't directly jump for admission by looking at website data. Consider it after all other government college options are closed for you and only private options are open. If you are willing to take energy sector branches go for it without blink of eye but for CSE or core branches look for other options.

Seats are reserved for 3 quotas ACPC (50%), All India (35%), and NRI (15%). All India admission on basis of JEE rank, ACPC rank, and NRI on Dasa counselling. Typically if you have 80 percentile or above in JEE you are in a good position for mechanical and civil type branches. For CSE or ICT you have to aim for 93 percentile or above. Here academic is good. Curriculum has been designed by keeping in mind all the eligibility of UGC recommendation.

Pathetic faculty here in college. Full time faculty is very less. College appoints visiting faculty or M.Tech teaching assistant for teaching. A single faculty is taking so many subjects in a single semester. No support to students from faculty. Some faculty has fun in failing students. Only read PPTs for teaching purpose does not care whether you are understanding or not, just come blabber some stuff and go.

Yes, CDC (Career Development Cell) is appointed by PDEU for career related opportunity. CDC overtime send mail to students fir many opportunities with skillset required and eligibility. CDC is working well here but main problem is opportunities in Gujarat for tech industry is less. Student are placed but with small package ranging from 3-7 LPA. Though Petroleum branches are procuring good packages as they are provided opportunity for big companies such as ONGC, Adani Gas, Shell, etc. Start-ups are mostly coming for core branches from Vadodara and Ahmedabad.

One thing I must say that hostel resides in every student heart. PDEU has the best hostel facility one can attain in nominal fees. All rooms are furnished with air conditioner. Nominal fee of 130000 per year is charged. A 4 time meal is provided with variety of food from veg to non veg. Menu is variable. Rooms are cleaned everyday but laundry facility is not included in hostel fee. You have to pay for laundry.

Total 6 blocks names from A-F with different schools. Well furnished and well ventilated classes. Every class has air conditioner and seats are well arranged. However, there were instances where maintenance issues took longer to address, impacting the overall convenience for students. But overall campus infrastructure is well maintained and flushed with greenery. A doctor is also appointed at campus. SBI bank is also available. A stationary, amul eatery coffee shop general store, and lot many eateries are available at campus for students with nominal prices. Sports are available also.

Average campus life. Very strict in terms of using any space for activities has to seek a bunch hell of permission. Two fest are arranged every year named tesseract and flare. Many events are arranged by many clubs in these fest but those are not very happening. Not very good artist are called upon in EDM nights or artist night. Every year mainstream artist are called because University does not release funds. Many clubs are there almost in every field but no very much to do.
