CMR Institute of Technology B.Tech Review By Akash Prabhulinga Gowda

CMR Institute is famous for Engineering. By seeing its package and seniors opinion made me to join this college. The faculties here are very friendly and always there for help the students and the classes are good, clean, and hygienic and large. This college comes under top 10 colleges in Bengaluru. And environment feels like a home. So I suggest joining this college.

I took Information Science in this college. Entry requirement is crack the KCET of ranking around 15000 rank. I got 15k rank and got this college in first round and tried for second round then also I got this college. The main eligibility is to crack KCET below of 15k rank and through COMEDK also they can join but fee is very high. But through KCET we have to pay 90k to KCET and around 20k to college.

Faculty is good and well educated. And also so friendly they treat nicely. I am a PCMB student at 12th I don't know anything about coding, but the teacher here is very well explaining in coding from basic. They suggest for mini project and other cultural activities and also if any doubt we have they can clarify at any time. I like that attitude of teachers here.

Yes, we have a Placement Cell in our institute. As I know, our college has a best average package for students, around 6 lakh. As in our senior batch, the department like CSE, ISE, ECE, and EEE have good placement and highest package is around 25 lakhs of Japan company. So it is really helps the students acquire jobs in the industry.

Hostel is good I was not in hostel. I stay in PG, there are lots of PGs (girls, boys) around college, as my friend lives in hostel he always says hostel is good. In hostel, they give 3 times food and snacks daily and also a good environment for studying. Also you can't go outside after 7:30 PM and also they don't have washing machine but the room and warden are good.

Our college is not so big it is around 8 acres only. As per I thought it's good only because unwanted places are not there and if we enter college and to reach our room it takes around 5-7 min. If we have large campus we tried before reaching our class. We have A, B, C, and D blocks. In B block it is for 1st year students and has library and auditorium and C and D block is for 2nd, 3rd, and 4th year students (branch entry) and A block is for MBA students and they have separate library and B, C, and D blocks connect each other. And library is good and wide. I like library and books which are there, they have lot of collection of book and it is open till 12 AM (midnight).

In our college there are so many clubs. One is different from other. They conduct hackathon for money prize and so many clubs related to coding, internet, and also they have dancing, acting, drama club, and also they have kannada club and cultural club which took over the cultural activities. We have fest once in a year. It is conducted for around 2 days and everyone enjoy it so much there.
