I joined RNS IT through KCET merit FOR EEE branch. RNS IT is best suited for great learning accompanied with discipline and engaging in curricular activities. It has a great infrastructure and cozy classrooms with proper ventilation minimizing heat effects in the classroom. The college has one of the best food courts where there are multiple options for the customers to choose from in cheap prices and the food court cooking department maintains cleanliness and proper hygiene. There are regular feasts where the seniors encourage their juniors to participate and each and every event is managed efficiently without creating any chaos. The college has a spacious library where the students can go through many study materials available including non study materials like fictions, thesis, and documentations. The teachers are excellent in their fields and make concepts clear. They are friendly and never refuse when asked to help. Overall, the college is great for pursuing engineering along with enjoying the subjects and college life.

I am enrolled in BE course related to EEE engineering. The eligibility criteria for EEE engineering is a KCET rank of Max 40k ranking, I got admission with 35k rank with general quota in second round. EEE program’s main emphasis is to pursue a bachelor degree in field of electrical + electronics engineering. In first year all the branches share and study common subjects like maths, ESC, ETC, chemistry and physics. First year is divided into two semesters: physics cycle semester and chemistry cycle semester. The core related subjects starts in the second year.

The teachers in our faculty have a great teaching experience of more than 10 years (most of them) and have got their Ph.D degrees from reputed universities. Maths teacher named prof. Narasimha is one of only teachers who make maths easy to study by teaching in-depth concepts to add clarity to the subject. So in case of mathematics, studying becomes easy in engineering 1st semester. Same is applicable to all the subjects. The teachers in addition to teaching also encourage students to take part in cultural events and fests and help students in projects.

The college has a great infrastructure with spacious and cozy classrooms. Each classroom is provided with adequate number of fans, multiple charging outlets for charging our mobiles or laptops and consists of two seated benches which are comfortable, and projectors which are used whenever necessary. There are multiple blocks including mechanical block, MBA block, civil block, architecture block, CS block, EC block, and admin block. Each block has a minimum of 40 systems or PCs. The washrooms are cleaned regularly and maintained. There is continuous supply of drinking water facility in each block. There are lifts for every block. There are at least two seminar halls in each block. The college library is very spacious and also contains discussion rooms. The college has one of the best food courts which is large and spacious and offers multiple delicious food items in limited expenses. The college also has a great rain and calamity management system in case of emergencies.

RNS IT possesses great emphasis on cultural events and fests. There will also be inter-branch competitions in terms of sports and cultural activities where the students are very competitive. The seniors are cooperative and often help their juniors in projects and also encourage them in joining fest activities and cultural events. There are many clubs which you can join to showcase your talent.
