RNS Institute of Technology Hostel Fees: Rooms, Food & Rules, Bangalore

The RNS Institute of Technology hostels are available separately for 500+ male & female students at its campus. At these accommodations, there are more than 170 triple sharing rooms with basic living amenities so that students can live conveniently & comfortably.

Students who want to live at the on-campus accommodations of the Institute have to fill an application form and pay the prescribed charges. On a yearly basis, the RNS Institute of Technology hostel fee is Rs. 1,50,000/-, including boarding & lodging charges.

The RNSIT Bangalore Hostel Committee has set-up a number of rules in order to maintain safety, create academic environment, and foster respectful environment at the accommodation complex. Hostellers should adhere to all such rules as violation will lead them to face disciplinary consequences.

• Changing the allotted hostel without permission of residential and chief wardens in advance will not be entertained.
• Violent activities such as ragging, hazing, bullying, quarreling, fighting or others are prohibited at the on-campus hostels.
• Students are forbidden from storing, distributing or consuming alcoholic beverages at the accommodations.
• To go out of the rooms for an entire night, residents need to take prior permission from deputy wardens.
• The hostel wardens have authority to confiscate electrical appliances such as dryer, straighter, iron, e-kettle, etc. once found in the rooms of inmates.
• Boarders cannot make loud noises, create nuisance or organise gatherings during specified silence hours as the timings are strictly meant for studying & sleeping.
• Safety of personal belongings is students’ own responsibility. Therefore, they are advised to lock their rooms properly before heading out of the residential premises.

The on-campus accommodations with modern amenities are available for 500+ outstation students. The boys’ hostels have more than 107 rooms. Whereas, at the female residence, there are over 64 rooms. Also, all the rooms are available in triple occupancy & allotted on a first-come first serve basis.

Residential, chief, and deputy wardens along with the other staff members are present to look after all the operations of the RNS Institute of Technology hostels & also to fulfill daily life requirements of the students.

There is also a Mess Committee with manager and other student in-charges to ensure the quality of food as well as cleanliness & hygiene of the dining hall, kitchen, store room, and other areas of messes.
